Cavaliers (4-0): 87 - Bulls (2-2): 83
The Cavaliers won this close game, being led by a two-headed dragon in Isaiah Mobley and Craig Porter Jr. Mobley had a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds, while Porter Jr. filled up the stat sheet by recording 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. Javon Freeman-Liberty was the scoring leader for the Bulls again, scoring 18 points. Chicago also had four starters score double-digit points, but it still was not enough to beat this hot Cavaliers team.
Hawks (3-1): 99 - 76ers (1-2): 98
The Hawks managed to beat the 76ers in this tight matchup, but Philadelphia's Jaden Springer was the star of the game on Thursday, scoring 29 points. However, the Hawks' bench stepped up by outscoring the 76ers' bench 53-29, which was the key difference maker in this game. Additionally, Atlanta rookie Kobe Bufkin played well and scored 14 points while dishing out 7 assists.
Nets (3-1): 99 - Raptors (0-4): 94
The Nets' second-round pick, Jalen Wilson, had a good game by scoring a team-high 17 points and also grabbing 7 rebounds. The Raptors were without their lottery selection, Gradey Dick, on Thursday but still mounted a fourth-quarter comeback to force this game into overtime. Toronto's leading scorer was Ron Harper Jr., who racked up 19 points.
Heat (2-1): 91 - Bucks (2-2): 72
On Thursday, the two previous Miami first-round picks did not play, but that did not matter as they blew out the Bucks. Orlando Robinson had another impressive summer league game, scoring 25 points and grabbing 8 rebounds. If the Heat can make a run in the summer league playoffs, he might have a case for the Las Vegas Summer League MVP award this year. Miami forward Jamal Cain also played well in this game with 24 points and 8 rebounds.
Rockets (4-0): 118 - Warriors (0-4): 101
Houston flat out dominated the Warriors to keep their undefeated summer alive. Rockets rookie Cam Whitmore took over on the offensive end by scoring a game-high 26 points. Whitmore has been stepping up in the absence of Jabari Smith Jr. and Tari Eason, which is a good sign for all Rockets fans. Trevor Hudgins also had another great performance, getting a double-double with 23 points and 11 assists. The Rockets were firing on all cylinders, and each of their starters scored over 12 points.
Pelicans (3-1): 89 - Hornets (0-4): 83
The Pelicans stayed hot in the Summer League by beating a Hornets team that was without two of their key players, Brandon Miller and Kai Jones. The Hornets got off to a terrible start, losing the first quarter 25-5, and never really recovered. Dereon Seaborn led the Pelicans in the scoring column by putting up 20 points on an efficient 9-13 shooting. Even though the Hornets lost another game, James Bouknight finally had the big game he was looking for, scoring 28 points and grabbing 7 rebounds.
Blazers (3-1): 88 - Magic (0-4): 71
The Magic rested rookie lottery picks Anthony Black and Jett Howard on the second night of a back-to-back, allowing the Blazers to win the game with ease. Portland was led by Michael Devoe, who scored a game-high 18 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Both teams shot terribly from behind the arc, but the Blazers had a much higher percentage of field goals made overall, which allowed them to win.
Kings (2-2): 93 - Timberwolves (1-3): 80
Sacramento was dominant the entire game, winning each and every quarter. Kessler Edwards and Jordan Ford carried the Kings offensively on Thursday. Both players padded the stat sheet, with Edwards scoring 18 points, grabbing 8 rebounds, and assisting on 5 made shots, while Ford racked up 17 points and 7 assists
